We hope you find the information useful, but if you’d like more information specific to your requirements please get in touch.

Kensa Contracting

In the summer of 2019 Croydon Council declared a climate emergency. Later that year they started a pilot project with Kensa Contracting to replace electric storage heaters with low carbon ground source heat pumps. This case study Documents the story.

Graham Construction & Network Rail

We worked with Graham and Network Rail to document two simultaneous bridge replacement projects over the May 2018 Bank holiday. We had a large crew covering both sites operating 24 hours a day.  We installed time lapse cameras prior to the weekend and shot both video and photography from the ground and from the air using drones.  We also utilised several mobile time lapse cameras to capture key events in more detail.

Pocket Living

We were commissioned by POCKET to document the complete production and installation process from start to finish.  After visiting the factory we decided that it would be interesting to mount the camera on a fixed rig mounted in the same position on each stage of the production process.  Working inside a busy factory has its challenges, especially than the posts are moving around on rails. We mounted a camera inside the module during transit to record the journey to site and the lifting procedure, whilst simultaneously filming the lifting from the ground.

Pipex PX

Pipex PX wanted a short time lapse video to document the installation of a new footbridge. The winter storms of 2015 caused extensive damage to the sea defences at Dover including 250 metres of railway line. This resulted in 40 million pounds worth of emergency works over the next 12 months. Pipex PX designed and manufactured the unique Hybrid FRP pedestrian footbridge.  This work was done during the Christmas period to minimise disruption to the train timetable. The video combines time lapse, video, drone, animation and stills photography   We can provide all these services. Pedestrians and their dogs now have safe access to the beach!

Casella

Casella is dedicated to reducing occupational and environmental health risks through effective monitoring solutions. Casella prides itself on providing precision instrumentation since 1799, supplying eminent figures including David Livingstone and Charles Darwin with instrumentation for exploration and scientific work.  We combined video footage and animation to illustrate this promotional video.

Lagan Construction/CNIM

Construction of the £205m state-of-the-art Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) at the existing landfill and recycling site in Beddington, Sutton, commenced in 2015.  This was extremely challenging video to make due to the high level of traffic on site, up to 500 deliveries a day!  Safety was paramount, our vast experience working on busy construction sites came to the fore on this project.

London & Quadrant

L&Q is a housing association operating in Greater London, South East England and East Anglia. It is one of the largest housing associations in London. We filmed this case study at their Beaulieu development in Chelmsford. Christina and Stuart, and their two boys, were a joy to work with, enabling us to produce this short video illustrating the advantages of Shared Ownership offered by L&Q

Buhler

Buhler asked us to document the installation of this state of the art vertical storage system. We installed three DSLR cameras for a period of two months to capture the work from three unique angles. The footage was edited together along with animated motion graphics and text to highlight key information.

Graham and Lagan Construction JV

The scheme includes infilling one third of Alexandra Dock with 780,000 m3 of material and reclaiming 7.5 ha of the river to create a new 650m quay wall, which can accommodate three offshore wind installation vessels. We were commissioned to produce an induction film incorporating footage from their existing generic induction film but also filming new site specific chapters that would highlight health and safety issues unique to this project. The object was to produce an induction film that would speed up the induction process but still deliver clear, concise information in a engaging, entertaining manner.

Curo Housing

We are capturing the whole development process over the next 10 years. So far we have documented the area prior to demolition and the full demolition process.
The site was mainly single storey wooden huts which have been demolished over the past few months after the removal of any asbestos. For a successful time lapse, ideally you require high viewpoints. The problem was that there is none!! The existing two storey buildings disappeared quite quickly so we erected our own scaffold towers to accommodate four cameras. The cameras and mobile towers are currently on the site documenting the house building process.

Denton Associates

DENTON ASSOCIATES commissioned us to capture the fit-out process of these new offices for LinkedIn on New Oxford Street.  We installed three DSLR cameras to capture the works over a three month period.  We had to re-position the cameras several times throughout the process due to the installation of new walls. At the start of a project we study the schedules and plans of the intended works and plan our camera positions accordingly.

Graham Construction & Network Rail

GRAHAM commissioned us to capture a momentous event in South London.  The installation of the new Tennison Road Bridge near Norwood Junction was a construction industry first.  The new 565 tonne bridge was ‘pushed’ horizontally over operational rail lines. To document this unique event took a great deal of planning. We had up to five crew members on site at one time filming, photographing and flying drones overhead enabling us to deliver a stunning piece of work which the client was delighted with. We started documenting this project in April 2014, visiting once a month to photograph its progress and attending major stages of the build to film and fly the drones
